Too Crazy To Be True

Alright idiotkiddies...here is the real story about Texas! We drove 19 hours to Paris TX (and we didn't even get to see the miniature Eifel Tower). Along the way, Team Cavalier (Ross, Ryan, Jason, and Jeremy) ran out of gas...not once, but twice. Fortunately they rolled into a gas station the first time, and we were only 8 miles from Paris the second time. Then, it was about 90 degrees and humid as hell in Paris, and there were thunderstorms surrounding the town the whole time. As one might have guessed, RFN and IK rocked the hell out of that little town, and all the crazy kids joined us on stage for an orgasmic rendition of Jump Jump. Finally, we headed home. 2 hours out of Dallas, Team Suburban (Me, Luther, Noah, Joe Diddy, and Mark) ran out of luck as the suburban's engine seized because Luther (who all of the kids in Paris thought was a punk rock god) forgot to put the oil cap back on after filling up the oil. We waited on the interstate for 2 hours for the asshole police. Then we waited another 2 hours for the tow truck. We managed to squeeze all of Team Suburban (along with Jason the tow truck driver) in the front of a two seat tow truck. After contemplating several options to make it home, we came up with a master plan. Luther's mom drove from Duluth MN to Dallas with a new suburban. We hitched a ride from some wonderful people at Dairy Queen. They took Luther and Noah 70 miles to Abilene to rent a car. We changed the name of our crew to Team Tauras as the 5 of us squeezed into a small rental car. We left our gear with Jason the tow truck guy, and Luther and his mom picked it up today when Luther returned to TX with the rental car. Luther should be home tomorrow, finally completing our hellish weekend. That's all. So, in closing, I would like to thank Cody, Joey, and all the kids who came to Paris for the show. I would also like to thank the staff of the Ranger, Texas Dairy Queen for absolutely saving our lives. Thanks to Jason the tow truck driver for getting us off the road and storing our gear, and thanks to Noah, Joe Diddy, IK and RFN for making it the craziest 2 day tour that any band has ever taken. Peace out kids, and we'll see ya at the next punk rock show.

Hey all, just wanted to say hi. Despite the unpleasant subject of this news brief, I'm not bitter. The subject is just a line from a Reason For Nothing song that I've had stuck in my head all day. I love Reason for Nothing. Speaking of good bands, our old buddy (and drummer) TJ brought his band, The Broken Promise, to town for a few shows this week. It was good to see him (as well as Chad and PJ). I believe their website is thebrokenpromise.com. Check em out, they're damn good. I guess I'm just writing to contradict what Ross said. I thoroughly enjoy the occasional person ripping into us. It is an eye opener that we are obviously not perfect and have aspects of our music that need improvement. When your friends and family are endlessly kissing your ass, you tend to forget that you should still strive to be better. So whoever the nutless wonder was who was talking shit, thank you very kindly. I hope someday you do a shitty job serving me my food at McDonalds so I can bitch about how you do your job! Oh well, I guess I am just a little bitter. I mean come on, I'm a great singer
Thats all I've got for now. And for Christ's sake everybody, quit swearing so much, my Mom reads this site. (Thanks for the support Mom)
